CONTEXT
Create a communication design of trivia cards that served as placeholders within the app and also entertain users during states between loading.
I conducted extensive research to identify food-related trivia that aligned with Swiggy’s brand values and appeal. Trivia topics ranged from culinary traditions to fun facts about popular dishes from various cuisines.
With a focus on maintaining a balance between informativeness and entertainment, I meticulously crafted micro copy for each trivia card. The copy was designed to be concise yet engaging, capturing users’ attention and stimulating their curiosity about different food cultures.
Collaborating closely with the design team, I ensured seamless integration of the trivia cards into the Swiggy app interface. The design elements were chosen to be visually appealing and cohesive with Swiggy’s branding.
The trivia cards were strategically launched within the Swiggy app, placed as placeholders during loading times. They served not only to entertain users but also to reinforce Swiggy’s association with global culinary diversity, enhancing brand perception and user retention.
